DEC 2025 - JAN 2026 RESIDENCY APPLICATIONS FOR SILVER SUN IN WOODSTOCK NY ARE NOW CLOSED!

The Local Saugerties has partnered with Silver Sun Residency to offer arts professionals and artists in music/dance from anywhere in the world, the opportunity to stay in the heart of Woodstock NY in the Hudson Valley for 12-14 day stays at no cost.

Lighting designers, agents, managers, music/dance theater workers, producers in live music/dance, performing arts administrators and others who work in the creative industry specializing in music and dance are welcome to apply!

You can think of this as a time to renew in the beautiful Catskill Mountains in the Hudson Valley or to work on a special project but you do not need to have a project to apply. Please thoughtfully explain in your own words why a stay in Upstate NY would be meaningful to you in the application.

Guests will have use of an entire 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom 19th century home on a converted dairy farm on 12 acres with a fully equipped kitchen, a large meeting room and an all-purpose workspace with WiFi. Family, colleagues and friends are welcome to join you.
